Planet Eclipse Ego Dart Bolt for 2011 Ego

If you want an upgrade that will take your 2011 Ego series paintball gun to the next level then look no further. The 2011 EGO Dart Bolt Kit will take kick out of your gun and have it shooting better than ever before. Check out all of the details below about the 2011 Eclipse Ego Dart Bolt Kit.

The Ego11 DART kit is a full drop-in Valve Guide, Exhaust Valve and Bolt kit designed exclusively for the Ego11.

Designed to improve every facet of the Ego11′s feel and performance the DART kit increases efficiency and reduces sound signature and felt recoil as well being more gentle on paint in both the loading and the firing actions.

The DART kit enables the Ego11 to operate at consistently lower HPR and LPR pressures than has previously been possible on any Ego, but at the same time offers superior velocity consistency and efficiency.

So how did we achieve this?

DART Bolt – The Planet Eclipse 2011 Ego Dart Bolt Kit incorporates the latest Cure4 cushioned tip design as seen on the CSL.

In addition to the Cure4 design there are now 2 seals on the body of the bolt, one either side of the transfer port. Rather than use the traditional method of stretched, incorrectly sized o-rings as the seals, the DART bolt utilizes a floating seal design. These floating seals match the internal bore of the breech to create a perfect seal, yet allow for thermal expansion and contraction of the bolt body to occur without worry of increasing frictional drag in the bolt system or loss of effective seal. The floating seals provide the optimum compromise between reliability and efficiency. They will operate with next-to-no lubrication in even the harshest conditions without any negative effects to efficiency or consistency.

Finally the new 2011 Ego DART Bolt is fitted with a weighted insert. The small increase in mass that this insert brings to the bolt system enables the Ego11 to cycle with a lower LPR pressure at lower cyclic speeds yet still retain enough inertia to pop the exhaust valve open and overcome blowback forces during the firing phase.

DART Valve System – The Ego11 DART Valve Assembly combines an improved flow path with refined dynamics that result in significant gains in efficiency. The new design forces the valve to close off more quickly after opening, reducing air wastage after the ball has reached velocity.

The Ego11 DART Kit is designed to be used only with the Ego11 platform (Includes CSL) and is only to be used as a complete kit. Installation and use of an incomplete kit will seriously affect the performance of the marker and in extreme cases may lead to damage of the marker. Only use the DART Valve Assembly and DART Bolt together in your EGO11 or CSL Marker.

Virtue Spire Paintball Loader

Check out the all new Virtue Spire Loader. This 200 round paintball hopper is now available for purchase in the United States. Check out what the Virtue Spire is all about in the information below.

Fast and Jam-Proof Feeding

With an Intelligent Shot Activated G-Force sensor, the Virtue Spire sits at the top with the fastest feeding loaders in paintball, but speed doesn’t count for much unless a hopper can also feed reliably without jams. The Spring Loaded Anti-Jam Paddle seamlessly prevents jams by sliding underneath and pushing jams out of the way before a pause in feeding occurs.

Fastest To Take Apart and Reassemble

Changing batteries, cleaning the hopper, and most importantly, putting it all back together again was never so easy. The Slide Lock Quick Release allows the back shell of the Virtue Spire to be removed in less time than it takes to read this sentence. From there, all of the Spire internals are mounted on an internal tray, which is quickly removed with the slide of the convenient Tray Release Tab.

Virtue Spire Monitor Paint Levels at a Single Glance

Never start a game with less than a full loader, and stop wasting precious time opening the lid to see how much paint is left during crucial moments. A translucent backshell allows the shooter to quickly view paint levels in a single glance, without revealing how much paint is in the loader to everyone else.

Durable Construction on the Virtue Spire

The Spire front and bottom shells are made of rugged glass-filled nylon, while the back shell is made from impact modified lexan. It has been stated by Odin himself that Mjolnir’s power to create or destroy has no equal. Until Now…

Quick Change Virtue Spire Speed Feed

The Virtue Spire Crown2 comes with its own built-in hinged lid for easy bag-reloading in the pits with a secure snap fit. When those rain clouds make an appearance, the Spire Crown2 Quick Release back shell allows for changing back and forth from Speed Feed to Lid in mere seconds.

Skateboard Bearings – What are the right Skateboard Bearings For you?

Skateboard BearingsSkateboard bearings are one of the most important items you should purchase when looking to put together a new deck. Skateboard bearings affect the smoothness of your ride as well as how fast you are able to get going and control your speed. Most skateboard bearings range in ratings from Abec 3 (most basic) all the way up to an Abec 9 (most advanced) rating.

Typically you should go with a minimum of abec 5 rating on any skateboard bearings you are looking at. The difference in ratings between all of the skateboard bearings is the tollerances of the bearings to the casing. The better tolerance (higher abec rating), the better the skateboard bearings will roll and keep speed.

There are a few major components to a typical skateboard bearing. First you have the metal outside housing. and the internal metal housing. All of the ball bearings sit inside of that area. Holing the ball bearings in place is a plastic guard that keeps everything spaced out and even. The plastic guard will keep your bearings from locking up or jamming in the future. The last major part of the skateboard bearings is the plastic dust covers. This keeps dirt and debris from entering the skateboard bearing and causing it to seize or lock up.

Know that more expensive is not always better when choosing a good set of skateboard bearings, so do your research on all of the different brands and choose a good abec rating.

DLX Luxe 2.0 Paintball Gun

Luxe 2.0 Paintball Gun

Luxe 2.0 Paintball Gun

Check out the all new Luxe 2.0 paintball gun today.

All new circuit board -  The Luxe 2.0 Circuit Board takes advantage of advances in embedded controller technology to provide more efficient and responsive performance. A more effective “sleep” mode allows the Luxe to maintain its battery charge longer between uses while separate voltage regulators for analog and digital circuits optimize power-on performance for longer battery life.

Luxe USB Interface Application – This new Windows based software provides three levels of communication with the Luxe 2.0. Luxe firmware updates can be flashed into the Luxe 2.0 circuit board without having to send it in to a Luxe Prestige Dealer. Using substitution-permutation network based encoding, the Luxe 2.0 relies on NSA top-secret approved encryption to ensure that only legitimate Luxe software is loaded via the USB connection. The USB Interface Application features bi-directional settings transfer to read or change any of the Luxe’s 19 user-adjustable settings with an easy to use one-page menu. The USB Interface Application also allows for the installation of new voice sets into the Luxe 2.0.

All new voices – The Luxe 2.0 is configured from the factory with the all new Luxe 2.0 default voice as well as select phrases in Spanish, German and Russian, but it doesn’t stop there. Three of the Luxe 2.0’s four voice banks can be easily re-flashed with the Luxe USB Interface application. A growing library of complete voice sets (not just select phrases) in various languages, and the voices of professional paintball players like Todd Martinez, Konstantin Fedorov and Patrick Wrobel will be available soon at LuxePaintball.com.

Easy access Fire Chamber – The easiest to maintain luxury paintball marker just got even easier! The Luxe power core still provides the fastest access to both the bolt and valve system of any tournament marker. New cut-outs in the Luxe 2.0 fire chamber increase staged gas volume to protect against shoot-down while providing easier access to the chamber’s internal o-rings.

Bolt Return Spring – Inside the nose of the Luxe 2.0 bolt is a small spring which stores excess energy from the bolt’s return stroke and releases it right when it is needed, as the bolt overcomes friction to begin its forward motion. The result is an immediate reduction in first-shot drop.

Easy Feathertouch Access – One of the most popular updates to the Luxe design has been Feathertouch. Players can choose between the fastest possible recharge cycle or pneumatic buffering to soften the bolt’s forward movement. With Feathertouch, the Luxe’s recoil is virtually eliminated and its buffered bolt movement is gentle on even the most brittle paintballs. The Luxe 2.0 grip frame features an access port allowing the Feathertouch Control Screw to be installed without removing the grip frame. An additional storage port keeps the Feathertouch Control Screw secure when not in use.

New Quick Latch System – The groundbreaking quick-latch ball detent and eye covers that made their debut on the original Luxe have proven their worth in rapid cleaning between points in the staging area. Unfortunately, they also occasionally became dislodged at inopportune times. Paintball Masks

Paintball Mask

Paintball Mask

A paintball mask is one of the most crucial and important pieces of equipment you will need for paintball. It is strongly recommended that if you are in the market for a new paintball mask that you don’t cheap out on a few dollars here or there to sacrifice the quality or features of the goggle.

Paintball masks start at roughly $15 for a basic Gen X Global mask and can tip the scales on the high side with the Dye I4 series mask which retails for up to $135. The two most important features you will want to look for when choosing a paintball mask is the Thermal/Anti Fog Lens and good protection of your face, neck and forehead.

To start with the lens, thermal and anti fog are two different types of paintball lenses. Anti Fog tends to refer to a washable coating applied to the mask to keep you from fogging up on the paintball field. This is a temporary fix to a fogging mask and is stock on most masks/lenses. A thermal lens is a dual pain system that has a piece of foam in between the two lenses to keep you from fogging up on the field.

The second most important thing about purchasing a paintball mask is the amount of protection that it offers. A lot of the more expensive and tournament masks actually offer less protection that cheaper masks.  If you want maximum protection then check out the Full Head Sheild goggles. They have a regular goggle along with a full head cage that keeps the top and back of your head fully protected. Check out the best price paintball masks Here.
